Default alternator upgrade

anybody upgraded to a different (1 wire ?) on a 98 merc 502 setup ? mine quit charging..just looking into options..thanks Rob

DBElectric in Tenn has what you need cheap! Mine has lasted forever 105 amp!

I have the 65 amp, I used the multiwire hookup "Mando Replacement". Put one in my Brothers boat also. You should be happy with the quality of it. Made in China but the old one was made in Korea.

That's what I run. Make sure you up size the positive wire that runs to the starter to handle the additional amp output.
