zz502 - what is the largest bore size without heat problems? Planning on 10:1 compression ratio on an airboat

What can you do with machine work to help the engine run cooler?

I wouldn't sugest going over 4.5- which is .030 over

If it is a Gen VI block, then it can go to 4.600. We do it all the time. Just be sure to sonic check the block since they are known to have a little core shift.
