I would be interested in hearing what you are finding with that system.. I am presently tunning an Accel system for my truck.. I see some limitations.. but for a truck motor it seems to be working out ok.. Not sure how it would work on a boat motor..
You can email me at
[email protected]..
Thanks
Dick

My buddy uses this on a 200 mph mustang small block turbo and I will be using this on my supercharged car also. It aint cheep but what is. This unit, from what he tells me, is a pain to get ready as far as finding the trigger point for the speed pro to reference. Once this is all done the speed pro is fairly simple yo use. If you buy one new, a base program will be set for you- then what you need to do is trim the fat off of the fuel and air ratio graphs. You dont have to be a brain specialist to use this. It runs off of a windows based program. Precision Turbo is a big dealer of these things and could probably give you some great insite on what to do. I will be using this system on my boat next year. Fairwell to the mefi3!!! I hope this helps and sorry to say the word Mustang on this post!

Here is the # for Precision 219-996-7832. Or precisionte.com. Get a quote from them on a system then give me an [email protected]. The guy I was talking about has a connection also. He sells a bunch of these things to different drivers. He may have a better price for this this system and it will also come with a base program to get you started. I will wait to hear from you once you talk to Precision to see if it can be done with out too much trouble. Give me a ring when you hear something. Scott

Have you looked at the Total Control unit by PFM Products at www.superchiller.com. Plugs in, no laptop needed, has knock sensor, no O2 sensor, made for boats.

J.V.,
I have used the "Speed Pro" F.A.S.T. ECU for three years in my boat. Two years on a 575+hp small block chevy with and without NOS and now on a Procharged small block Chevy 738+hp. I have the Bank to Bank system with the wide band O2 sensor. I tuned the normally asperated engine my self; however with the Blown motor I hooked the engine up to the dyno and had Craig at BDS tune the engine over the internet, through my Lap Top. If you have any questions call me George (203)258-5222
