Default 1998 502 MPI Fuel Pump...which one?

Am in need of a pump, and cant seem to figure out which one I need? There are so many part numbers out there and all the pumps look the same.

I have 1998 MAG, MPI motors, closed cooling with serpentine, cool fuel setup.

Serial number is 0l003481,

Looks like it was 861156A11, but I'm not positive:

Yes, that would have been your correct part number, But when looking that number up it should have told you to reference Mercruiser marine service bulletin somewhere.

Here it is for you.

You will need part number 861156A02, $424.58

Yes, that is your fuel pump part number (861156A 1) before mercruiser turned it into a kit, It will work on your engine at a pretty good price to.
