whats better a hydraulic flat tappet,or roller cam .

Roller will live longer and make more power.

Hydraulic roller - too many possible issues with flat tappets now.

If you have an '87 or newer one piece rear main seal block, it's a no brainer going to hydraulic roller as the factory pieces are cheap and a cam button is not needed.
