i have been told by others on this board (who are much much more experienced and knowledgable than myself) that the nose cone will not add any speed or positive effects under 80 mph.
this is just what i have been told. and seen told to others.
someone will set you in the right direction. theres more knowledge on here than anywhere else i have found...bar none.

At 65mph, there will be no benefit to running nose cones. They might even hurt performance. My 28 Pantera one and I swapped the lower case to DWP. Didn't see any difference.
80mph + is when you start to need them.

I agree with Griff - as usual. All you'll do at that speed is get a great chance to screw up the paint (and corrosion resistance) on your drives.

At 78 my Hammer slowed down 4 miles an hour with a nose cone. Took it of and the speed came right back. Save your money. At 65 you will get no help and will likely hurt your speed.

I put nose cones on and later took them off 2 different '89 Bravo boats. Made no differnce in speed on either but it was at 65- 70 mph. They did reduce prop slip a little bit, 1 or 2 %.
