Default H2O pressure relief

Where do you put it?
Before strainer?
Before raw water pump?
Before engine?

Thanks

Most sea strainers will have a 3/4inch bung that you can put a pressure relief valve on. If your strainer doesn't have it you can splice open your main 1-1/4" water hose and put in this fitting and hook up your pressure relief valve to it http://teaguecustommarine.com/media/...34_dsc0791.jpg

Mine is in the 1 1/4" hose right before the t-stat. Works flawless. I don't have any strainers.
