I have two Kinetic red racing lightweight 2400's and I am very pleased with them. They spin the engine like it doesnt even have plugs in it. Like Rob said, they were normal out of the box then I charged them for 24 hours and they have been awesome ever since.

What batteries are you running? I dont have anywhere near 3K watts, must be quite a system!
Wyatt, I have looked into the golf cart batteries, my parents have a big 5th wheel RV that they use them in and they have held up really well, but, they are very heavy, especially in a little boat like mine

I've had excellent luck with Odyssey, that's why I sell them. I've also had decent results with Optima. Odyssey are 100% made in the USA with 100% virgin lead. I've had one in my Camaro (track car) for over 10 years.

Sounds like a KILLER set up! Must really pound! Any idea what size I would need? I want 1 start battery and 1 for the stereo (about 1000 watts total)
I will need to buy locally, since I am in Canada and shipping would be pricey,
Thanks!
Michael

Make it easy on yourself and buy Deka's they pretty much make all other high end batts. They last forever and have tons of crank an stand by power. You can usually find them under different names. Batt plus sells them as marine and napa hi end batt. I think the main company is called east penn. We run 3000 watts of jl amps and will run for about 4 hours pounding. Batt is 2 years old now.
