PirateCom V David Clarke
I've had a look about the site but no-one has really made direct comparisons between them.
Has anyone used both?
What did you think?
What do you Have in your boat and why?

I've used them both, I have Pirate Com in my ride and like them. Nothing bad to say about the Clarkes but the Pirate Com guys were so involved in my application and even offered to come install them free. I would deff buy Pirate Com again! Just my .02

Hello. My name is Doug Sartin, Account Executive at Setcom Corporation, leading manufacturer of marine wired and wireless intercom systems and headsets. I hope everyone is well.
Yes, we recently acquired Piratecom last September, which is good because we are a larger company with significantly more engineering capabilities and a great service team. Also, this opens up the doors for more marine products in addition to the Piratecom gear some of you are accustomed to.
We want to let you know that we can offer quality, cost competitive products compared to other offerings on the market today. Specifically, we are much more affordable than the David Clark systems and have a wide range of products available depending on your needs and requirements for communication systems and budget.
Lastly, we want everyone to know that we are very focused on the marine market. In fact, we are the official communications sponsor for Miss Geico Racing and look forward to great racing season this year. Additionally, we have some new products coming out soon that we are sure everyone will like so keep us on the radar.
You can find more information about our marine equipment by visiting www.setcomcorp.com/boat.html. Also, feel free to reach out to me anytime with questions.
Best regards,
Doug Sartin
