Well I have raced and owned a few LSX motors, and would love a pair in a boat....
Cam wise, depends if NA, or blown? you dont want them to die to much when you put thr boat into gear... so a decent idel is needed. but other then that, a nice 3-6500 cam would do great, with a strong TQ band.
I would nto go super big for a 7000 rom limit as thats ALOT on a motor let alone holding it for a while like you woul din a boat.... also wears out springs quick. but a torqey cam that peacks around 6k would be good

You do not want to spin a Bravo over 6,000 rpms
Here is a link to one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUr9s...feature=fvwrel
When I read the article(Hot Boat?), I am sure the engine was 100% stock.
Call Bob Mandra for a cam, I am sure he can help you out.

Feel free to give me a ring if you'd like. I work with them all day everyday, Marine, street, trucks, road racing, drag racing... and have a few good options.
