will a bellhousing and coupler off a gen IV 454 fit a gen VI 454?

yes,but the flywheel is different,balancing is the difference.

Ok. So I should be able bolt the coupler to the gen VI flywheel and the bell housing to the gen VI block?

yep,it will bolt on just the same as the mark4 you took it off of
