Default Installing O2 bung in Hi-tek Jacketed Manifolds

I would like to tune my 350 SB and currently have the Hi-Tek Stainless one piece jacketed manifold and risers. What I am asking is would it be possible to weld in an 02 bung in the jacketed setup (obviously having to cut through the outside and welding back)? My main concern is ensuring that the welds don't leak. Just want to see if anyone has a jacketed setup similar to mine and see how it has worked.
