Default engine build thought (502) block

Block is 502, motor specs out at 532 inches. eagle rotating assembly, will have 9.5.1 compression ration. after all said and done w/ head gasket,pistons,rod,length and edlebrock heads. will be running merc 525 cam. dominator intake w/ a 850 marine holley. ignition is a marine D.U.I big cap Hei dist. What is a safe total timing number to start with. Engine will run on mid grade fuel. At no more then 300 ft above sea level. anyone have a horse power number? thanks for all the help

I would start at 32 to 34 and see what plugs look like. I assume this is with al heads correct?
Hp number is a crap shoot but you can always figure 1to1 so I would say 550hp is a good guess.
