Default Sea Pump ?

Well this past weekend changed sea pump plastic housing with impeller and new wear plate. After install started and at idle no leaks put at 2500 to 3000 rpms water dripping from front of sea pump under fuel pump. Looked at it with a mirror and leaking at bottom of pump close to pulley. 95% sure didn't over tighten and crack new housing and hose clamps coming in and going out are tight and no leaks. Question is there a seal or can rebuild the pump it self. By the way I have a 502 hp blue carb motor.

Yes the pump can be rebuilt. You probably need to change the quad ring. There is a square shaped o-ring that goes around the pump shaft just in front of the wear plate. The groove that the quad ring sits in will get distorted due to corrosion. You can usually just clean out the groove and replace the quad ring.
