Best mufflers for 5"

I've been running Gibson Clamp ons and they work well with no measurable difference in performance, and lots of difference in the volume.

I had Gibson clamp ons on my 600sci. Knocked 4+mph off the top end. for a single V with no steps, that seemed like a lot. Sound level change was dramatic. still sounded good but much less volume.
I'm looking for a set of 5" for another boat, would like to know what others think.

I bought GGB mufflers 6-7 years ago, 5" clamp on's, boat ran same exact speed on my blown 1100 hp boat with or without them, GGB closed since then and re-emerged

I am pleased with the CMI 5" clamp on air activated mufflers. We use at idle and as needed up to 3000 RPM. In back to back comparison testing in open position vs. removed we were down down 1-1.5 MPH at 100 MPH.

My 600sci was running 4" exhaust, so with clamp on's looked like it was breathing through a 2 1/2" hole!
That is probably why my change was so dramatic.
My 2nd project - I went with 5" exhaust largely so that I could muffle down without choking the engine.
FYI- GGB was pretty lame to deal with on my other project. Had a return, and took 6+ months and a dozen calls and emails to get a refund. Lot of bs and extra expense with customs since he is in canada so the refund was much less than expected. Overall - bad taste in my mouth and won't deal with him again.
