Sometimes not all the time (sluggish to crank). That never crossed my mind seeing how the battery is a three year old Interstate. I will take it in tomorrow and have it load tested. I have used Interstate battery all my life and have never had an issue, but I hope you are right because this has been mind-boggling.
Thanks C-Spray

As said before check your Alt. Its probably not working right and when you hit a switch that has a big draw it drops the voltage since your running off the battery. I have had this happen when my alt was bad.

Had the same thing happen on a 1993 Top Gun.

Personally I think its due to the battery and ground wire leads going to the trim pump being too small. Those trim pumps draw a lot of power, let alone at speed when trying to trim up while the prop is trying to push it down.

Thanks whoya,
The Alt. was one of the first things I checked and is working fine - I forgot to mention this earlier.

Well guys, I had the battery load tested today and it passed, so I dipped it and went for a 26 mile run tonight, I still don't know what the problem was after everything I did to find it, but I'm happy to say that the gremlin (what ever it was) has gone away. Thanks
