Default Very strange trim problem.

My outdrives will suddenly trim out without my hitting the rocker switches at any time. Sometimes only one drive will do this and sometimes both. As well my one trim tab will immediately stop working in the up position but only on one side. I can hit the breaker switches and sometimes it will alow me to reset tabs and trim but not always. Sometimes the drives are trying to trim out in spite of being fully trimmed out after hitting the breaker switch. I dont expect anyone to know what this is but had to ask.

Me too. Check wires that go to the remote trim switch " if equipped ". If not you got a wire grounding somewhere down the line.

If youhave trim in the controll handle, check there. The wires go in and wrap a couple times prior to going up to the handle switch. They will chafe and rub together at the pivot area of the handle. hf...
