502 mag mpi water in oil continued
This note goes to Eric @ Boyd Racing Engines.
I just got my Mr Gasket 122 double thick gaskets.
My question is, they are missing the 4 bolt holes over the
Intake ports! The intake ports on the gaskets HUGE!
I'm not sure I can add them without creating a leak between
The intakes....... So, should I not use those 4 bolts or should I ever
Soo carefully add them and if I have small leaks there it won't matter?
Also. They feel so rough. Should I put sealer like Mercruisers
Perfect Seal all over both sides?
Before I was told to use Permatex Ultra Grey Riged High
Torque RTV Gasket Maker. For sealing bolts and a thin
Application around both sides of the water ports .
Otherwise. They fit great.....although the water ports are a little small
Does that matter? Should i make make them bigger?
Sorry I'm such a pain. But I'm getting closer, with your help!!
Thanks a million. Vince.
