Thanks Fix and Deep, I also agree but in my frustration I'm willing to try anything right now to get those RPMs up where they need to be.

I understand frustration, but blowing yourself up ain't gonna help

I agree check the advance, I wouldn't even take it apart, just use a dial back timing light run it at 3000rpm or so in neutral (maybe a little higher) and dial it back to zero to see what you are getting at full advance (the number of degrees to get to zero is your advance number).
