Transom Exhaust Rings??
Looking for some opinions comparing the two types of transom rings.
1-Billet Aluminum with O-ring. Specifically made for 4" pipe. I like the fact that it is made for 4" pipe, and the price is appealing. I figure the o-rings can be replaced a-la-hardware store when the time comes. I like the fact that OD is only 6", making the center two on the twins a little easier to fit.

2- Stainless Steel with silicone doughnut. Made to fit from 4-4.5" pipe, costs a bit more and the silicone rings are like $10 per. the thing I dont like is that the stainless ring OD is 7" and then there is all that silicone there to fill the void.

I am in fresh water only so no worries on corosion, and boat is only in the water during use, otherwise stored in my garage.
Thanks guys.
