More 575sci build questions
So, after teardown on my 575 the only issue we are seeing at this point is slight glazing on the rear 4 cylinders. Bearings look good, cam even surprisingly good. Jury is still out on the heads but they have 300hrs on them so they will be checked out.
I really would like to upgrade the cam but there is a whole lot of added expense/pain that comes with that...like ECM mapping. To this point I have copied other peoples setups/mapping with the stock cam. Before the teardown I was running the stock cam, AZSM 575 mapping, bumped fuel pressure to 32lbs, whipple intercooler and pushing atleast 9.5 psi. It ran well with no soot on transom.
What I am looking for is to buy a Hyd. roller cam and ECM mapping package that is a known performer. Anybody sell one? Gellner?
I know 4bus is taking on the task himself. I just have too many irons in the fire to take something like that on at this point.
