Default Michigan Motorz Replacement Engine

Hello,

My 2001 Sea-Ray (5.0L Merc/ Bravo 3) has not been running right for the past couple seasons. I checked compression and number 4 & 6 cylinders have 0 PSI. Rather than wasting time rebuilding it, I have been looking at getting a new complete engine from Michigan Motorz. The 5.7L will drop in and mount the same as well as plug right into the harness so I'm going to upgrade from the original 5.0. Has anyone had any experience with Michigan Motorz? Comes with a 2 year warranty which is definitely a plus. Please let me know your thoughts.

Here is a link to the engine.

Do you need all of the accessories etc? Seems you could buy a long block for half or less and be good to go.

Try this they just drop ship from GM factory. I bought 2 brand new 502's took them apart best of everything. I spent hours doing the research and talking to merc who buys them then put acceseries on them. Do a search on this website you will find hours of reading. Remember you get what you pay for.... I changed the cams to RMBUILDER cams so I could get bigger cams for my setup and the fuel pump lobe. Yes the new blocks come with a fuel pump boss. The cam's do not have a lobe. I sold the cams, springs and retainers to someone doing a stock rebuild.
