Default Hydralic hatch to electric, how hard to make the switch??

My 288 sunsation has a hydralic hatch Actuator, its ran by a bennit trim pump, which also runs my trim tabs, however its vey slow opening. wanting to convert to electric, something alittle quicker and also looking to get away from the hydralic. is it possible to maintain the same rocker switch, take the wires from the bennet pump and use those to run the electric hatch actuator? thanks in advance..

Also how do i figure out if i need a 18" or 24" ram?
