Default Quick fix for vapor locking

Can the fuel rail be burped at the schrader valve at the front of the rail under the plenum on a 502 EFI that has vapor locked to bleed it? Cool fuel system. Not the VST.

Hmm not sure, prob is that the fuel separator is now half empty. I ran return lines back to tank!! Per Mr Eddie Young and saved me $600 for 2 kits. No issues all summer!!

Thinking same thing. Just thought this might help speed things along getting the air pocket out. The mod is on the to do list, but until then hoping this would limp it along. For a boat that gets used 1 weekend every 2 yrs, it's not a priority mod.

Thanks

On my old boat (that had the issue), I was a little afraid of raw fuel getting in to the bilge, so I didn't bleed the schrader valve. Until I installed the merc fix (pump and harness), I would just raise the hatch and let it cool off. The merc kit works, as does the return line (so I've read).
