I was wrong on the motor. This is the unit here, a bored and stroked 454.

This being the case I guess my question would be is the FI a bolt up and go deal, or do you send the ECU out to get flashed like I do with motorcycles?

That re-man engine was built with Pro Comp components. All new for $3,999.99. You are going to have trouble.

RODS ARE BRAND NEW PRO-COMP
CRANKSHAFT IS BRAND NEW AIRCRAFT QUALITY PRO-COMP CAST STEEL
CYLINDER HEADS ARE NEW PRO-COMP ALUMINUM RECTANGLE PORT
ENGINE MAKES 576HP @5400RPM AND TORQUE IS 640LBS @4500 ALL DONE ON 91 OCTANE

ok me personally have run across a bad set of cylinder heads castings were thin and leaked water into the cylinders..from what i see from people is that they are not machined properly to spec..typical china parts..
