have to remember, boats like that were built to plane fast with less power = more hook in the bottom, as well as other design parts, so to go and try to make a performance boat out if it is like putting 750hp in a bayliner...can you..sure, but the same engine in a good performance hull will run way faster, handle better, be safer, and hold together...

I don't know what your price range is, but if you want a 26 wellcraft excalibur with a 24 degree hull my friend has one. 2002 I believe, 600 hp tyler crockett modified 496mag HO. Bravo drive. Tons of day time room, small cabin with bed and potty. I don't think it is listed now, but it can be had with a new trailer for under $30k. Reliable 75 mph, great boat. He is moving to a deck boat for a growing family.

You're "dreaming"! It's a nice boat but some boats hit a brick wall no matter how much power you put in them.

Just stick that in then and enjoy. Stock 502 / 415HP won't revert with stock exhaust.

Exactly !!!!! had a friend that dumped TONS of $$$$$$ into a Baja and would not run past a certain speed period it seemed...
