Cool repowing with 1350's?

It sure would be nice to repower my Skater with 1350's. I am assuming that I would also include new #6's because mine are 15 years old now. What does it cost to do such an upgrade. how much are the engine/drives combination before labor? is it worth doing on a 2000 36 or is it cheaper and wiser to just buy a newer boat?
