Default 525 2 stage sea pump vs single stage ?

Thinking about changing plastic housing sea pump to the stainless steel from Hardin. The drive is XR with dual water pickup. Is it worth changing it over to the 2 stage, or is the single satisfactory. My friend has a 600 and I can see that it would work slick to run separate water to intercooler and headers, just don't know if it really necessary on the 525. Opinions are appreciated!

two is always better than one but a single will be sufficient.

One is plenty. I also moved the water inlet forward on the shorty and made it smaller to reduce pressure without running a relief valve. I had to seal the fittings with 4200 because nothing else would seal them.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having issues. I have PLENTY of water pressure on my 525 with the stock setup.

I have a dual stage pump and its coming off this year and single going back on. It's a nightmare to plumb in a dual stage and I had to cut the heck out of my motor plate to get it to work...
