This will work...Unscrew the nut so its flush with the shaft..that is the shaft tip and the nut surface are flush. Now take your knee's place them on the outer edges of the wheel..inside of course..you use leg's knee's to pull the wheel towards you..dont be afraid use enough force to lift 20lbs..And finally take a long 1/2' or 9/16' socket place it flush on the nut/shaft take a hammer and hit with the force of driving a 1" nail....That will break it loose ive done that growin up in my father's garage for a very long time.

May sound weird but it will work..sometime's you need to tap that nut 5 or 6 time's.

Ayuh,..... That's the ticket, for 'bout any tapered shaft connection,....

Push Up, with yer knees as hard as ya can, 'n with 1 Good Wack, with a BFHammer, Right on the nut/ shaft,...
The hub will Pop off against the nut,...

I like a 10lb engineers sledgehammer,.....

Tie-rods, 'n ball-joints on cars, 'n trucks can be done the same way,...
Steady force, 'n a single Wack,...

I'm happy Bondo is on this site now.... I've been lurking other sites and using his advice without fault for several years.

i like using a real puller better than spreading my legs and hammering away right by my knuts. getting too close to "when i nod my head you hit it."

If your not going to keep it, use heat and follow the above and it should pop right off.
no reason to blow a nut doing it the hard way!
