Default Drying out cabin carpet ??

A few weeks ago, I got a LOT of water in my cabin and my cabin carpet got completely saturated to the point where your feet would squish when you walked on it. I spent a lot of time shop-vac'ing it and got most of it out such that the carpet was just damp. I put a bunch of damp-rid bags near the floor and have left the cabin door open for air circulation, but weeks later, the carpet is still damp... I'm worried that if it says this way much longer, its going to start to smell and/or worse start growing mold.. any tips for getting it to dry ???

You need to put some heaters down there.

Air circulation is key. Get a large fan and let it go. It'll probably be dry in a day.

Shut the door as best you can , hell , even cover the whole boat. It's the only thing that's gonna work , and work well !

Damp rid bags are a waste of time and money .

I've had something similar -- shop vac and try to get the most of the water out and then fans.

good luck

If you get a nice dry day, a fan pointed out of the cabin works well.

I say fan. Blow in cabin door and open hatches so it can vent
