That's cool. Some truth to what they say...but it is some truth.

Not like they didn't lie with how their pumps where made when they made the switch to Powdered Metal gears, , and they started breaking on people. After a few years they went back to normal. It took a couple of years for this to happen and this was all very recent.

Any how....

I've sucked many a BBC pan dry...even in cars : ie: short bursts at higher rpm. Had Small oil pans for road clearance and some I even improved the oil drain back. Solution, regular volume or bigger pan.

BTW: Regular volume BBC is still relatively high volume. Those pumps move a bunch of oil.

There is no better education than listening to the voice of experience even though he may have a white substance on his hands . ( from a different thread )
