Rooster tail fittings on Normal drives - What and where?
I was under the impression you had to have surface drives until I saw this video?? about 18 seconds in
It looks like a "pipe" that mounts above the prop, similar to what the jet ski's do.
Does anyone know what the technical name for them are and where to get them?

Those are aereators ,,let air into prop when you first take off so prop doesnt lug engines down,,
most boats with really high pitch props these days run them..
Has nothing to do with making a rooster tail..

I am sure there are all kinds of things you can bolt on to your boat that will throw water in the air, slow you down, cause drag, and make your boat handle dangerously, just to look like a surface drive boat in the eyes of those that do not know any better.
