Default 525 vs 496HO

Im looking at some Formula 370 SS boats and one has these bigger motors. Can anyone offer me advice or info on these options. Ive had a 330 with 496's. I think my main concern is how these motors are serviced. Do the 525 require more TLC? they have around 375 hours on them. I thought I read that 525's needed valve work around that many hours? Thanks

If the valve train has not been serviced on the 525's you should have it checked. may need new springs.

Great motor but they have a header issue. If you haven't heard about it, just search it out. But it is a great motor.
