Against normal water flow is what he is saying. You want to push from the motor back towards the sea water pump.

Cleaned out what seemed to be like the previous 2 impellers out of oil cooler hoses and oil cooler. back flused entire system for a good wile ran today all is well. Thanks for the help

Good job bourne1106, it's always a crap shoot when you are dealing with something unknown like a new used boat. I bet a lot of boat repair shops don't bother flushing when changing bad impellers. Glad you got it figured out and it was a simple fix!
