Black hose water drain system 496 HO
Does anyone have a diagram / routing how hoses (grey, green, black) etc are routed and connected on a water single drain point system ?
On top of the water pump (actuator) there is a small black hose (looks like a vacuum hose) where is it connected to?
I replaced complete water pump, reattached it to the pump but the other end is just hanging around
who can help me out?

Thx for the diagram but it doesn't show where the black hose goes to
(# 9 in the diagram)
... having the same overheating issues and also CMi headers
so... where is black small hose attached to?

# 9 is an open vent hose for when you pull the water release drains. It usually is routed to the top of the motor and just sits there or tied wrapped to other hoses. Again just a air vent hose. Do not hook it to anything and keep it out of the way of anything that's rotating and do not tie wrap completely tight because you will close pinch it off..

# 9 is an air vent hose so when you release the water drains that you do hold water from internal air pockets. Usually that hose runs up to the top of the motor and just sits there or is tied wrapped to other hoses. Do not tie wrap it too tight because you do not want to close pinch it off. Also keep it away from anything rotating. Do not hook the open end to anything either. Again its an air vent hose for the water drain system.
