Max safe RPM?
I know this topic has been discussed alot, and I have read all of the posts. That being said I am looking for some ball park HP numbers and what a max WOT rpm you would run with this setup. Engines are done, I won't be able to dyno them before install, but I am having them tuned on the water by GT performance in CA.
2002 575sci's
bored to 509
Stock H-beam connecting rods
New JE forged pistons -11cc
balanced rotating assembly
JE moly rings
Stock 934 heads completely rebuilt with mild clean up porting and all new 2.25/1.88 valves (122cc)
Isky 8005A springs
Compression ratio is 8.23:1
Morel heavy duty roller lifters
525 EFI camshafts
Crane gold rockers
stud girdles
Felpro MLS headgaskets and ARP head studs
Rebuilt and stripped (by moonyham) weiand 256 blowers with 3.5" pulleys
Injectors cleaned and flowed
ECMs reprogrammed by GT
CMI etops.
120 degree thermostats
NO CHILLERS
Am I safe to run 6,000=6200 rpm with this setup and do you think I will hit my goal of 700+ hp? Going in the 38 Eliminator with bravo drives (i know) and 32p bravo props

The stock rods have press fit pins which I don't think like the higher rpm as much as full slip fit pins. The fuel pressure will likely need to be increased a bit to keep up with the rpm.
I have 2002 575s .030, head and deck clean, 525ish roller cams, 3.5" pully, Stock ignition and ecus. 704hp at the limiter and climbing. A/F was fine at 5350rpm but going in the lean direction.

I'd say 5600-5800 should be a good range.
Something to keep in mind, a N/A 525 with MPI style intake, will peak its power sooner than with a roots blower. The roots blower will extend its RPM range a little bit when using that cam.
I have that cam in a 468ci. Power was still climbing at 6200RPM on the dyno, but between 6000-6200, it only picked up about 5hp. If mooneyhams stripping the blower helps, you might make enough boost to hit your goal.
I do question the 8005A springs rate, at the higher RPM usage. Might be a bit light for higher rpm with the morel lifter. I'd ask the pro's on that one.

H+D,
Sorry don't have advice to give you on these engines. Good luck with the new engines, I still have your HP500's in the rigging bay at Mystic!
