So2fast5u, I have been honest and respectful with my comments and plan on continuing to do so. But I have to ask a question. Do you ever wonder why one engine runs better then another and for longer? my opinion and only my opinion is that the difference is in the details! Many small details add up to a strong reliable engine. The Cam and lifters are just an example of this detail thing. Were the engines that you swapped the lifters around on high output and high RPM engines? just curious.

2stupid2think claims he accidently mis matched the lifters,so much for details, lol.then in a different post he said he does it all the time.im sure they are beating his door down for him to do engine work, jeeez .

Well the cam/lifter debate is over in my book... Getting a new setup regardless as a few of the lobes had a chip in them....
Left a message with a local machine shop yesterday that a good friend recommended, so well see.
