We really enjoy our 89 Scarab 31 Excel, very stable in rough water! New transom last winter and engine refresh and now runs low 70s. I figure about 9500lbs, boat and trailer, gauges and dash update are next. You won't be disappointed should you find the right Scarab.

Second that! Absolutely no sealant at any of the edges. I applied a layer of glass then Gel coat to the edges where the drive and exhaust cut-outs are at. Did the best I could to get resin and 3M 5200 into all of the pass-thru bolt holes.
