Just buy one of these, http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/b...-marine-engine the 10.2 block doesn't leave much room for a decent rod. Best of luck to you and your build !

I've already ran the 632 it has a 6.7 rod in it tore it down at 40-50 hours everything looks perfect. Have you ran a bunch of 632's

No, and I wasn't being smart about it, the biggest one we did was 615 with the 4.625 crank.

The rod/ crank angle doesn't bother me a bit. The piston speed scares the piss out of me. When I tore it down this time if I felt there was going to be any issue from the 4.750 crank I would have changed it. But it looked better than a 598 with a 6.635 rod in it so we are going to go with it despite the peanut gallery that has never built one b4.
