Default What cams will work with stock lifters.

What cams will work with stock roller lifters and be reliable? 502 mag stuff.

I would say something that requires less than 150# on the seat, but maybe its the over the nose pressure you need to be more concerned with. Bob M. could speculate better on this.

They break the axle and roller in hp500's I wouldn't use them with anything more than stock. I don't even put them back in for stock motors

That takes care of that idea. Sucks there is not a cheaper alternative to stock roller lifters. The morels are a lot of money.

I've ran .595 on gen6 block with stock lifters

I am spending an extra 10,000.00 this winter to get rid of parts that "might" be ok..... reliability costs $$$

I'm pretty sure the hp rollers never used the stock GM lifter , but I do remember them wrecking the Crane rollers and that may have had more to do with the spring than anything else.
