Default marine sealant (clear)

I just bought a pair of swim step and I was wondering which Clear Marine Sealant I could use to seal all around the brackets with the transom. I know the best stuff is 3M 4200 or 5200 but these products are not available in the Clear finish. I will put some marine epoxy on the exposed wood before installing my bolts. Any idea about what good clear sealant I can use (below water line) ? No problem to find white or black stuff but I really want a clear one.

Thanks.

I use the clear 100% silocone from DAP lowes carries it...great stuff...I do not think there is anything to "marine" silocone...the 3M are sealer adhesive, 5200 when you do NOT want to remove, neither really what you are looking for and they are messy to work with as well and tend to "run" on a vertical install

I just reread your post and see you want below water line. The BoatLife LifeSeal might be better..

A little explanation of sealants. I read the differences before as far as when compared to your home hardware stuff, but couldn't recall specifics.

Silicone around the 3:30 mark
