I believe these are 365hp stock. Hopefully the gummed up cap was a major contributor to my issue. I'll provide an update once I get my outdrive back on. Thx

Got the new rotor on, and cap. Finally got my outdrive fixed and back on, so I hose tested it just now. Started the first crank, and sounded real nice. Revved it a few times, and I can honestly say I never heard it sound so nice and powerful. Can't wait to lake test it tomorrow. I'll provide an update then. Only problem is it won't be comparing apples to apples, since I've now put on my new 21P prop (vs the 19P before). Still hoping to push this bigger prop to 4200+. Thanks

Now you know you have the big port high rise intake good rat motor if you cant spin a 21 past 4500 your sleek has gold bars hidden under the floor . Or 6 sets of y pipe flappers jammed in the exhaust . Or the tach is off .or crossed wires. Really ,the only thing that scares me is why the heck was a 19 ,i assume 3 blade ,on there.

Little confused by this. I know 18436572 implies the proper firing order. Are you confirming this is needed to prevent backfiring, or is there some recommended swap/crossing of wires to prevent backfiring? While on the subject, does it matter if the insulation of some wires along the cap are touching? Should I try to space them such that none are touching?

+ way better than = . Each line on the symbols to left is a wire. Keep #5 and #7 very far away from each other.
