No sealant on the head gasket and put it in salt water you are going to have some serious erosion in a few hours if it is an aluminum head... I'm still trying to decide whats better copper spray coat or light coat of black rtv around the water ports...

anyone have any input on that?

Either way is good... If I don't want to spray copper coat on gasket I will At LEAST put a very thin layer of right stuff around water ports
