ck your primary meetering blocks see if those carbs have changeable idle feed restrictors, farthest ones out, if so try going down about .006 there, will work better than the air bleeds, my blowthru did and changes the AFR at idle easily

Sounds like your making headway. Sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty (in this case gasey). Stick with it you'll get it.
