We have installed and/or worked on every system on the market and Zieger is hands down the best.

The only appreciable difference in the mounting widths is clearance issues so break out the tape measure and make sure nothing is in the way, tabs etc.....

I installed twin RAM external imco and boat still chine walked, this was AFTER replacing all bushings, swivel etc so there was NO play. Then I went to full to the helm and boat was rock solid, fwiw, Smitty

Zieger also uses a metallic shaft scraper instead of the plastic ones used by other manufacturers that wears out and eats the seals when calcium builds up on the shaft for boats that sit in the water.

Thanks for your tips!I think you mean Zeiger steerings!
Price is nearly same at all builder and my way will be with Mayfair!
I have an trailerboat and i like the style from mayfair endcap most.

When size of the rams is only to get better mounting situation at transom,i check tomorow what is better at my boat!
If my boat runs not better,i add maybe next time an full hydraulicsystem.
But first must be an add-on enough!

Where to buy Zeiger full hydraulic kit with dual rams for 3100 ??
i found only add-on and they nearly all same price if from imvo mayfair and so.
