I have one with a flashed mefi and rc injectors rail mounted reg . Batch fire , off the shelf gm iac map ect tps ect.all the money is in the throttle body ecu .i think what sets it appart from your ram jet or 525 efi set ups it just looks cool . The early manifold mounted ecus crapped out and just looked wrong . But its the only game in town where you can throw a holley and a 7psi pump in a box on the boat and get home if something goes bad (intake mounted ecu takes a dump) beyond that prob a toss up between that and the usual asm bbc fuelie conversion.have another intake and set 46lbhr injectors batch fire harness no tb ecm or rails on ebay has been met with crickets ..

The Cutler setup was a first back in the day. It was finicky at best on the tuning. At times you had to fool the computer into getting the tune to work properly. No one would give up the software to talk to it. I have several ECU's sitting in a box, some known good, some known bad and some just, in the box.. If you get a good deal on the manifolds and hardware, you could go to a different ecu to control them. I use Megasquirt on my motor and it is easy to tune compared to the Cutler.
Hope that helps.
