Default Merc 8.2 HO Flame Arrestor Flange Diameter?

I have heard that the new 8.2L Mag/HO flame arrestor's mounting flange ID is larger diameter than the 8.1L Mag/HO flame arrestor's mounting flange. Can anyone tell me what the dimension is for the new 8.2L Mag/HO flame arrestor's mounting flange ID?

Are you talking about the newer 8.2 with the exhaust catalyst system, just asking to be on the page as you.

The Merc 496 with DTS = digital throttle shift is the same size and same flame arrestor that is used on the Merc 8.2 DTS catalyst engine. I am talking about the 8.2 and uses a catalyst exhaust system that was started in 2010 fro Mercruiser.

the 496 mechanical shift uses a different flame arrestor than DTS and 8.2 cat engine. It is smaller - I would have to look up the dimensions.

I am talking about the newer 8.2 with the exhaust catalyst system. So the 8.2 catalyst Mechanical is the same diameter as the older 8.1L mechanical and the DTS 8.2L is the same as the previous DTS 8.1L. But the DTS is bigger than the mechanical TB. Can you tell me what the DTS flame arrestor mounting ID is? I need a bigger ID flame arrestor for my 92mm TB. Thanks for the info guys!

Hello
Maybe you go a wrong way??
Inner diameter from my non cat non dts engine ist 88-89mm! Outside is 91-92mm!
And i have checked now at Merc the partnummer!
They offer only one flame arrestor for all engines,no matter if dts cat or nothing! partnummer is 8M0045238 !!
This is for all new 8.2 they sale!Best regards!
