If you're going to all the trouble of building a 3.75 stroke engine and roller valvetrain, I'd use an aftermarket head package. You'll gain so much more usable power for close to the same money. The vortec heads are good, but you'll need head work to use a good cam. My budget-built 350 above was just that... a budget build to save the season. Building a 3.75-stroke bottom end isn't really budget minded.
Find some GLM manifolds. They work.

We did one a while back. Runs like crazy lol. We used a rotating assembly package put together by our machine shop. We used dart heads and the boat already had a set of old school but still good Gil offshore sbc manifolds with dry to the tip tails. Runs bout 9.5:1 compression much more than that and you can have detonation problems on regular gas. Most marinas here don't have 93 so we built it to run on anything anywhere. As for the valve train our customer didn't want to go to a roller so we hit crane up being as they used to work with merc a lot and ground most the merc racing hp stuff. They came up with a nice running and sounding custom grind that I really like the way it pulls like train. If going roller you might hit madera up or crane. I talked to about every cam
Company out there and compared specs notes etc before going with the crane. But every situation is different ours came down to bang for the budget.
