The motor will be going in my Pantera 28. It should make that slug move along pretty good.

Not Cobra Power. I've seen those 800SC he is asking $12,500 for. They look pretty rough and need a rebuild. This motor is supposed to have dyno time only. Although the exhaust ports look a little rusty for a fresh motor. Absolutely everything is there minus exhaust. The guy wants 19,500 which I think is ludicrous. I am trading 2 vehicles that I'm in considerably less than his asking price. But it seems crazy to trade 2 rides for 1 motor. I am trying to establish a cash value on the motor to see it it is worth the trade.

Give RunninHotRacing163.1 a shout out. That's his favorite shop.

14k is a good start, rusty exhaust ports really bother me.

And the rust creeping from the head gasket area. And would dyno time only wear the stem like that. Also if my builder had my oil pan off. It wouldn't have peeling paint like that

i have a real hard time believing it has dyno time only.the rust in the exhaust ports did not get their with dry dyno headers!i would be very nervous about the rust.

Have him break it down for your inspection. You pay for gaskets
