Default milodon oil pan question

I'm trying to figure out the capacity of my oil pan on my boat, it's a milodon and is 7in deep in the front and rear, I can't find this pan on their website and I'm wondering if anyone here knows how I can find out? The motor was built in 92 so maybe they don't make that pan anymore?

Just curious, could you drain the oil pan then count the quarts you add until you reach the full mark on the dip stick.

There is no mark on the dipstick to use as a reference.

Does this look like it? Put 10 qts in it and then grind a mark on the dipstick. Then add a qt. for the filter unless you can just fill your filter and screw it on.

And you mention you don't see the Pan on the website either ? I was voted at 10 Qts but try this.

Is the dip stick tube leaving the pan marine front exit ? or automotive side?

If side just get 1965-1980 tube and dipstick assembly with proper markings as the depth should be universal for BBC. Tube and dip stick must be for same application.

Call Milodon and get the stainless braided push in or screw in (depending on the pan) Dip stick and tube . You may be able to secure it and at least have future reference in true level so you don't over fill.
